dbMap®

dbMap®/Web V.2026.2 (20-May-2026)

The v2026.2 release delivers enhancements to seismic data integration, physical records management, and well log visualisation workflows, alongside important platform updates to maintain security, stability, and performance.

Highlights:

  • Seismic Data Integration Enhancements – New spreadsheet data loaders for seismic acquisition and processed data simplify the ingestion and management of surveys and lines, enabling bulk loading of survey structures, acquisition details, and reprocessed data.
  • Well Log Viewer Enhancements – Expanded visualisation workflows support the display of multiple LAS or DLIS files within a single view, alongside interval-based data such as perforations and cores, and single-depth point data such as casing points, enabling more integrated well analysis.
  • Physical Records Management Improvements – A new data loader for physical records allows bulk creation and linking of items to wells, permits, seismic surveys, and lines, improving efficiency and strengthening data relationships across subsurface assets.
  • Security & Infrastructure Updates – Platform components have been upgraded to the latest versions, improving security posture, system stability, and overall application performance.

Claritas

Claritas V.2026.1.1 (11-Mar-2026)

The 2026.1.1 release introduces new capabilities to enhance seismic processing workflows, data visualisation, and quality control. This update includes AI/ML-assisted water bottom picking, the full production release of the SeisViewer 3D visualisation tool, enhanced velocity model export, expanded QC attributes, and new utilities for velocity model conversion. The release also marks the transition from GLOBEClaritas to Claritas under the Petrosys Group brand.

Highlights

  • AI/ML Water Bottom Picking (PROBPICK) – Uses machine learning techniques to estimate and pick the water bottom on HR and UHR seismic datasets.
  • SeisViewer – Full Production Release – The seismic viewer is now fully released, supporting visualisation of 3D volumes with Inline, Crossline, and Timeslice displays, along with enhanced analysis tools and header inspection.
  • Improved Velocity Model Export (Tomo3D) – Enhanced export of near-surface velocity models, enabling their use as part of initial depth velocity models.
  • Peak Frequency QC Attribute (AREAL Module) – New capability to calculate and output peak frequency attributes for improved field QC and analysis within AREAL or Condor.
  • SEG-Y to Claritas NMO Conversion Utility – Converts SEG-Y velocity models to Claritas NMO3D ASCII format for display in Isovels and use within the IMAGE_K3D module.
  • Product Rebrand – GLOBEClaritas is now known simply as Claritas, reflecting the transition to the Petrosys Group brand. Updated branding, contact details, and website links are included in this release.

Exchange

Exchange v2026.3 (02-Jul-26)

Exchange v2026.3 significantly expands data exchange capabilities across the subsurface ecosystem, introducing new support for 2D seismic, grids and fault sticks, enhanced OSDU integration, smarter Petrel workflows, and broader connectivity across leading interpretation and data management platforms. The release focuses on improving interoperability, reducing manual effort, and making it easier to move subsurface data between applications.
